Getting started

How Ahead works

Ahead is a play-money forecasting floor for music. No cash in, no cash out — the only thing at stake is whether you read the culture right.

The loop

01

Pick a forecast

Every market is a yes/no question about music — a chart run, a streaming milestone, a tour announcement, an award. Each one names the source that will settle it before you can trade.

02

Choose a wallet

You hold five isolated wallets. A market lists which wallets it accepts, so a weekly Sprint question can never eat your Season bankroll.

03

Take a side

Stake credits on YES or NO at the current price. Price is probability: 62% means the market thinks it happens roughly two times out of three.

04

Ride it or cash out

Prices move as new signals land. You can close early at the live price for a 2% friction fee, or hold to resolution.

05

Resolution with receipts

At close we capture evidence from the named source. Three independent verifiers must agree before an automatic settlement; anything ambiguous goes to a human desk and a 72-hour dispute window.

The five wallets

Casual

100,000 cr

Exploration and practice. One free refill when you hit zero.

Season

100,000 cr

The 12-week Season League. No refills — this is the one that ranks you.

Sprint

25,000 cr

Weekly reset. Only fast-resolving markets qualify.

Encore

0 cr

Recovery mode. Unlocks a 25,000 stake when your Season wallet is spent.

Long View

100,000 cr

Six- to twelve-month calls on an annual cycle.

How payouts work

Your payout is your stake divided by the price you paid. Buy YES at 40% and win, and 1,000 credits return 2,500. Buy the same side at 80% and the same win returns 1,250 — being early is worth more than being loud.

Lose and the stake is gone. If a market is voided, every stake is refunded in full. Closing early pays stake × (current price ÷ entry price) minus a 2% fee.

What we will not do

  • — No markets on anyone's health, safety, relationships, legal trouble or death.
  • — No real money, no cash prizes, no crypto.
  • — No market without a named, checkable public source.
